All negative discussions about Sarah Palin have been argumentum ad hominem. The attacks are nothing more than personal assualts more appropriately equated to school yard bullying.

Obama’s team was poised to pounce on any VP candidate named on Mc Cain’s ticket. They were aware of the short list and had ample preparation time and monetary resources to prepare for the naming of any Mc Cain VP candidate. Hundreds of reporters (liberal media) and teams of lawyers and researches descended on Alaska to ferret out any negativity about the Governor. The same smear campaign would have taken place with any person named by Mc Cain as his running mate because Obama’s team was armed, dangerous and, most importantly, loaded with money. They were ready to squash Mc Cain’s pick before he announced it.

Mc Cain’s camp was under-funded because the conservative base, lead by Limbaugh and Coulter revolted against his candidacy. They championed the charge against supporting him, against voting for him and against funding him. Notwithstanding the wrongheaded actions of the fringe right wing, Mc Cain held his own against a man who raised nearly a BILLION DOLLARS to secure the Presidency. It is painful to imagine the outcome if the base had unconditionally supported their candidate.

Sarah Palin is feared by the DNC and the fringe left because she resonates with the people. We are after all a government of the people, by the people and for the people. When is the last time that any American realized government working for him or her? Sarah brought that fresh voice and frightened the extreme left, the Obamanites and the DNC base. They knew that she could potentially rise up America to the pathway of truth. They had no choice but to destroy her.

An examination of the swift response attack on “Joe the Plumber” sums up the Obambastic strategy of win at any cost. He too became a voice representing the people; a voice the left cringes over and strives to stifle. Within a day of his asking a simple question, his tax filings, his child support payments, his job history and his credit report were available for public ridicule and attack. The fear mongering was extreme as much so as Black Panther totting night sticks at Ohio polling places were.

Sarah Palin lives what America dreams of. She came to the ticket with a record of reform and without a history of Beltway cronyism. While Obamanites screamed racism on any occasion, they failed to recognize the “gender based” attacks on Governor Palin. They assaulted her over being able to manage parenting and governing, yet championed Joe Biden for being a single parent who thrived early on in the Senate. Was America to believe that a man can have it all, but a woman is incapable? We were spoon fed information about her expenditures of a few hundred thousand dollars on items to prepare her for the public yet never exposed to Biden’s disbursements of over $2 million of campaign funds to family members. What kind of sexist, gender bias did we ignore?

As the witch hunt continues we can all rest assured that those who fear Governor Palin most will spend great personal and financial assets to assure that she is buried in the Alaska Berring Straights never to emerge as a threat to them or their Socialistic, Communist agenda.

The GOP, Republican base and all conservatives failed to meet Mc Cain half way and allowed America to be sold to the highest bidder on November 4th, 2008. To blame Sarah Palin is cowardly and despicable.

Wake up America, Obama is not going to pay your mortgage or fill your gas tank. Furthermore, the few hundred rebate or stimulus dollars you might receive as a “thank you” for voting will pale against the increased taxes, the obstacles to economic growth and the unraveling of our national defense system. Obama won, not particularly ethically, but he won.

If anyone is out there, willing to show some testosterone, today would be a little tardy for commencing a postive plan to support Sarah. Blaming Sarah Palin is not the starting point, it is a liberal, heinous talking point designed to deflect away from the truth about their agenda.

Hundreds of millions in deals with candidate's associates

Sen. Barack Obama's office engaged in six months of negotiations with a company controlled by convicted criminal Tony Rezko to lobby the U.S. government to push through a nixed $50 million contact to train Iraqi security personnel at a site in Chicago.

The contract was awarded to Rezko's company while Aiham Alsammarae, a long-time, close Rezko friend and a contributor to Obama's campaign, served as Iraq's U.S.-appointed electricity minister, the senator's office confirms.

Rezko was a major Obama fundraiser and associate for two decades.

Alsammarae also awarded another Rezko-controlled operation as part of a $150 million contract to construct a 250-megawatt electricity plant in Iraq.

Alsammarae later was arrested by Iraqi authorities for bilking the coalition government out of some $650 million. He was sprung from prison under questionable circumstances in 2006 and escaped from Iraq, where he is still wanted for questioning with regard to major financial crimes.

VOIGHT: My concerns for America

We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.

Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.

The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.

The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds. I know this process well. I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.

Those same leaders who were in the streets in the '60s are very powerful today in their work to bring down the Iraq war and to attack our president, and they have found their way into our schools.

William Ayers is a good example of that.

Thank God, today, we have a strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly who they are and what they must do to protect our freedom and our democracy.

And we have the leadership of Gen. David Petraeus, who has brought hope and stability to Iraq and prevented the terrorists from establishing a base in that country. Our soldiers are lifting us to an example of patriotism at a time when we've almost forgotten who we are and what is at stake.

If Mr. Obama had his way, he would have pulled our troops from Iraq years ago and initiated an unprecedented bloodbath, turning over that country to the barbarianism of our enemies. With what he has openly stated about his plans for our military, and his lack of understanding about the true nature of our enemies, there's not a cell in my body that can accept the idea that Mr. Obama can keep us safe from the terrorists around the world, and from Iran, which is making great strides toward getting the atomic bomb. And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend.

Gen. Wesley Clark, who himself has shame upon him, having been relieved of his command, has done their bidding and become a lying fool in his need to demean a fellow soldier and a true hero.

This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.

The Butter-Cutter On The Campaign Of “Change”

The presumptive Democratic candidate for president of the United States, Sen. Barak Obama, has made “change” the theme of his campaign. In an effort to learn the substance of that theme, I changed and sought out the Butter-Cutter on the left side of the Chow Line in the virtual Mess Hall.

“That's right! The brother's gonna change.” the Butter-Cutter declared without prompting.

“Well, early on, Sen. Obama pledged to stick to public financing. Now with his coffers full of cash, he has withdrawn from that commitment. Is changing his mind what the Senator means by 'change,' ” I asked.

“Look, man, this way, he can do more than with public money. So, he changed his mind. Man, he ain't dumb!"

“At one time, the Senator also pledged to get rid of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade Agreement, by taking 'the hammer' to Canada and Mexico and threatened to cancel it unilaterally. Now, he calls those statements 'overheated.' . . .“

“That's right! Change, man, change! Ya know what I'm sayin'?“

“He also declared that he would filibuster any bill that included retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies. Later, the Senator said that he would vote for the new FISA bill, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which gives blanket immunity for post-9/11 eavesdropping. Is this more of the kind of change the Senator intends to bring to the presidency?” I asked further of the Butter-Cutter.

“Yeah! Yeah! He changed like he said, man. Hey, man, don't he talk sweet? Ya see the brother talk ta all them people in Philly back in March? Man, that was sweet! Not like that McCain. He can't talk wertashit, man . . . not wertashit! An', he only talks ta people face-ta-face in little groups. He's not like the brother who talks ta thousands at one time!”

“Senator Obama refused to wear a U.S. flag pin because, as he said, it had become a substitute for true patriotism; then he started wearing it. Why do you think he made that change?” I queried the Butter-Cutter.

“Oh, man, a bunch o' them small-town people who pray, keep guns, 'n' are afraid of everything trash-talked him. So, he put on one o' them little pins 'n' they stopped. Ya know what I'm sayin'?”

In 2006 and 2007, he called for the immediate withdrawal of all U.S. Forces from Iraq, even threatening to cute off all funding for them. Later, he changed that to a promise to withdraw all U.S. combat forces in 16 months. His 14 July article in the New York Times contained yet another change. He now agrees to a residual force in Iraq with three missions: pursue Al Qaeda, protect American service members, and train Iraqi security forces. What do you make of those changes?” I asked.

“Hey, man, what's wrong with ya? Yeah, he changed like that: we're winnin'! Right? Ta get the votes to be prezidant, the brother's gotta be on the right side o' the fence. So, he changed! Ya know what I'm sayin'?”

“In March, Senator Obama said that he could not 'disown' the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his spiritual mentor and friend for over 20 years. Then in April, he changed his mind and publically dumped him. What does that say about his loyalty to friends?” I asked the Butter-Cutter.

“Oh, man, that don't mean nuttin'. The Rev said the brother had ta say that shit because he wanna be prezidant. It was all just a little shuckin' 'n' jivin'. Ya know what I'm sayin'?”

Last week, he was scheduled to visit wounded U.S. soldiers in a military hospital in Germany. When told he could not bring members of the media and campaign officials with him, he changed his mind and cancelled the visit. Is that conduct befitting someone who aspires to be the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States?”

“Man, he was busy over there meetin' with prezidants 'n' talkin' ta thousands of people. Ya hear him talk there? Man, he talk sweet, sweet, man! That McCain talks ta ordinary people 'n' only a few atta time like he wanna be personal 'n' friends er somethin'.”

As we have seen, Senator Obama has changed his mind on campaign financing, NAFTA, FISA, wearing of a U.S. flag pin, keeping U.S. Forces in Iraq, the Rev. Wright, and visiting wounded soldiers. His demonstrated performance suggests that the substance of his campaign theme of 'change' and how he will conduct himself as president if elected is--change whenever it is politically expedient!”

“Ah, man, listen! When he be prezidant, the brother gonna talk sweet 'n' change. He ain't like that McCain dude who don't talk wertashit! The brother, now, the brother talk sweet! Ya know what I'm sayin'? He talk sweet 'n' change. That's what he's gonna do when he be prezidant! Ya know what I'm sayin? Hey, man! YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'?”

“I know!” I said emphatically and then turned and walked away from the Butter-Cutter on the left side of the virtual Chow Line.

Soros Publisher 'Shaped' McClellan's Hit Job: Other publishers don't recognize it as the same book

An examination of published reports reveals that Scott McClellan's kiss-and-smell betrayal of George W. Bush is a far cry from the book McClellan started out to write and was shaped into an offensive tome by a publisher with close ties to George Soros.

To understand how McClellan's literary knife-in-the-back evolved, one has to know something about the book industry.

Unlike fiction, a non-fiction book usually hasn't been written before it's sold to a publisher. The author normally puts together an outline and/or synopsis detailing what the book will be about and how it will be structured, and writes 1-3 sample chapters to show the author's writing ability. The author's agent then shops the proposal around to prospective publishing houses.

The agent actually lands the deal, so the choice of agents is crucial. Any author normally starts at the top of the A list and works his or her way down until--or if--they find an agent with whom they can work. According to an Associated Press article,

"McClellan's book does not fit the pattern of Washington megadeals. He was not represented by Washington, D.C., attorney Bob Barnett, whose clients include Tenet and countless political leaders, but by the much less known Craig Wiley, whose most famous client is actor Ron Silver."

Not to slight Mr. Silver, a gifted talent, but that's hardly the reaction one would expect to a proposal promising the kind of sensational accusations which have created a media furor and catapulted McClellan's book to the top of Amazon's charts. Oh, and put quite a bit of coin in Messrs. McClellan and Wiley's pockets. Agents are paid on a percentage of sales basis. The more controversial and sellable they think the book will be, the more likely they are to take it on.

Nor did publishers see enough in the proposal to jump at the chance to publish it.

"It was shopped around but, like others who publish in the category, we didn't even take a meeting...." said Steve Ross, who was head of the Crown Publishing Group at Random House Inc. at the time McClellan was offering his manuscript. This in an industry that, just like newspapers, appears to be dying a slow death at the hands of new media, print-on-demand, and other modern technologies, and is desperate for books that can add substantial numbers to the bottom line.

Again, agents start at the tope of the food chain and work their way down. McClellan finally reached a deal with PublicAffairs, which according to the AP "specializes in policy books by billionaire George Soros" and others.

Further, the unwritten book wasn't published based upon McClellan's proposal. "(Public Affairs founder Peter) Osnos said he didn't even read the proposal" the article reports. Instead, Osnos "sought out people who knew McClellan and said they regarded him as an honest man unhappy in his job."

In other words, Osnos didn't look at the proposal of the book McClellan wanted to write; he was more interested in confirming that McClellan was disgruntled with the White House.

PublicAffairs editor Lisa Kaufman confirmed to the AP that the proposal McClellan shopped around was nothing like the book that plunges the knife into his benefactor's back. "The original proposal was somewhat general," Kaufman admits, "so before making an offer on the book we talked to Scott at some length."

It takes little imagination to gather how the conversation between George Soros's publisher and a disgruntled former Bush administration official hawking his unwritten memoirs, still unsold after having gone through the tope tier of publishers, went.

But imagination isn't needed.

A book's editor and its author work extremely closely--with the author sweating over every word, every detail, and the editor helping shape the pacing and overall tone of the manuscript. Kaufman told the AP that as McClellan wrote the book the "tone began to be directed toward issues and events that some people would rather he not be straightforward and candid about." (Emphasis added.)

PublicAffairs reportedly paid McClellan a $75,000 advance. An advance is the only part of an author's financial deal with a publisher that's guaranteed. It is literally an advance on the author's royalties. If the book sells enough copies that the author's royalties exceed the advance, the author will make more money.

Some have argued that McClellan's small advance negates the financial incentive as a reason for McClellan to bring forward these charges, when the opposite is true. When George Tenet or Bill Clinton are offered millions in advances, they've already made their money. The books will probably not "earn out" (pay the author more than the advance) no matter how many copies are sold. With a small advance, the author is under pressure to sell as many copies as possible.

With only a $75,000 advance, and working with a publisher and editor who were more interested in producing a book written by a disgruntled former Bush staffer than they were in the book McClellan had proposed, McClellan had every financial incentive to give them exactly the book they wanted.

And he apparently did.

According to the AP article, "Rival publishers say they had no sense that McClellan would make such explosive observations."

Could that be because the proposal McClellan presented them, the book he set out to write before financial pressures and a left-wing publisher took over, didn't contain them? And how is the public now expected to believe them?

Is it wrong for Pastor Jeremiah Wright to preach hate for white people, to perpetuate angry feelings between the black and white communities?

Presidential candidate, Mr. Obama has described Mr. Wright as his "sounding board" during the two decades he has known him. Mr. Obama has said he found religion through the minister in the 1980s. He joined the church in 1991 and walked down the aisle in a formal commitment of faith.

It would be impossible to determine the ripple effect from the 8,000+ parishioners of the church as they repeated and accepted Wright’s statements as truth. If each person told two people who told two people, and so on, the damaging effects from Wright’s hate speech and skewed, revisionist version of history would calculate to be catastrophic. Wright’s factitious preaching over the decades may have single handedly done more damage to America from within by poisoning the minds of impressionable people against Caucasians and the government in general than drugs and AIDS combined.

Wright has single-handedly mitigated the good intensions of noble Americans who have worked tirelessly to embrace, support and help the black communities. Geraldine Ferraro was criticized for factually stating that Barack Obama has been well supported by the black community who might not have supported him if he were another ethnicity. Obama’s campaign wasted no time in calling her statement, racially insensitive. Come on. It is time to get real. Racism is a business which would fail if it were not kept alive by the men and women who benefit the most from it.

Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Jeremiah Wright need to keep racism alive because without it they, and countless others like them, would be out of business.

If Obama wants to lean on his Christian faith, and on the man who has been his inspiration and sounding board to take the spotlight off of his Muslim early education, then he needs to stand and be accountable for the bitter, hate inspired, anti-white speechifying. He needs to convey how he could have been a friend and student under Wright for over two decades and not share the same values and ideas.

Doesn’t it seem a bit convenient that Obama forged a friendship with Wright over 20 years ago, a man who hates America and what it stands for, and more recently forged a relationship with the billionaire, America hater, George Soros? How can Barack Hussein Obama expect any reasonable person to believe that he is not influenced by the men who have given him his start, his inspiration and the financial foundation to seek the highest office in the land?

Why can't the Florida and Michigan delegates be transferred to the Super Delegate category? As such they would be able to cast their votes and the final lobbying for their votes would become an additional factor in the contest between Clinton and Obama.

A solution so simple, only a Republican could think of it.

The manila envelopes contained a photo of a man standing in front of the recruiting station before it was bombed. The photo was the kind commonly sent as a holiday greeting card, according to a Democratic aide who spoke on condition of anonymity because the matter is under investigation.

The message on the card: "Happy New Year, We Did It."

Election 2008: For an ambitious and savvy politician, Barack Obama has not picked his friends wisely. They include an assortment of influence-peddlers, terrorists and Iraqi billionaires. If you thought the Clinton White House was interesting, just wait.

The jury has been selected and opening arguments were heard Thursday in the corruption trial of Antonin "Tony" Rezko. If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's because the press hasn't shown much interest in what has been considered a local Chicago story. But it has international and disturbing implications.

Hillary Clinton may have been casting the first stone in a recent debate when she blasted Obama's cozy relationship with Syrian immigrant and "slumlord" Rezko, who rose to become a player in Chicago and Illinois politics. But she was right on target.

Rezko: Fixer for a front-runner?

Rezko was among Obama's earliest supporters. In 1995, when Obama ran for a seat in the Illinois Senate, Rezko, through two of his companies, gave Obama $2,000. Obama won election in 1996 in a district that coincidentally included 11 of Rezko's 30 low-income housing projects.

In 2003, when Obama said he'd run for the U.S. Senate, Rezko held a lavish fundraiser at his Wilmette, Ill., mansion. Rezko has raised a lot of money for Obama, who is returning $150,000 raised by Rezko and his associates and is giving $72,650 in Rezko contributions to charity.

Rezko is known by the Chicago press as a "fixer" who can make things happen for a price. Little is done out of the goodness of his heart. He's on trial for bilking up to $6 million from the people of Illinois through kickbacks while working for the administration of current Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Did Rezko find jobs for Obama supporters? That is one of the questions the Chicago press wanted to ask before Obama cut short a recent press conference.

Rezko and Obama would do business yet again. In 2005, when Rezko was under federal investigation for influence peddling in Blagojevich's administration, Obama and Rezko's wife, Rita, bought adjacent pieces of property from a Chicago doctor.

The doctor sold one parcel to Obama for $1.65 million, $300,000 below the asking price, while Rezko's wife paid full price, $625,000, for the adjacent vacant lot. Six months later, Obama paid Rezko's wife $104,500 for a 10-foot-wide strip of her land, allegedly so that he could have a bigger yard.

The deal rendered the Rezko parcel too small to build on, thereby increasing the value of Obama's property. What was Rezko expecting in return for this favor to Obama that made Rezko's parcel almost worthless?

An interesting sidebar to the deal was that just weeks before, an Iraqi billionaire by the name of Nadhmi Auchi, who has a French conviction for corruption to his credit, had loaned Rezko $3.5 million through the Panamanian company Fintrade Services FA.

A 2004 Pentagon report obtained by the Washington Times identified Auchi as a global arms dealer and Iraqi billionaire "who, behind the facade of legitimate business, served as Saddam Hussein's principle international financial manipulator and bag man."

The report states that "significant and credible evidence has been developed that Nadhmi Auchi has engaged in unlawful activities" such as bribing "foreign governments and individuals prior to Operation Iraqi Freedom to turn opinion against the American-led mission to remove Saddam Hussein." He also helped "arrange for significant theft from the U.N. Oil-for-Food Program to smuggle weapons and dual-use technology into Iraq."

Yet Auchi, despite his French conviction and other activities, was somehow able to get permission to come to Chicago in 2004. John Batchelor of Human Events says that in April 2004 Auchi met with Rezko, Gov. Blagojevich, State Senate President Emil Jones Jr. and reportedly then-state Sen. Obama, who'd just won the Democratic U.S. Senate nomination.

So this, er, businessman meets Obama and friends at the Four Seasons hotel in downtown Chicago. Obama acknowledges attending an event there where Rezko was present but doesn't recall meeting Auchi. "He shook a lot of hands and met a lot of people," an Obama aide told the London Times.

Did he shake Auchi's? The newspaper said the timing of the loan to Rezko and the Obama property purchase, along with the purchase of land next door by Rezko's wife from the same seller, raise questions about whether Auchi helped buy the house. It raises a lot of questions.

Why would an Iraqi billionaire, a "fixer" like Rezko and a Saddam protege, be interested in a rising U.S. politician who was also opposed to the ousting of Hussein by U.S. forces? Why would that billionaire lend that much money to Obama's fundraiser, Rezko, with the two buying adjacent properties from the same seller on the same day?

Rezko has told a court that Auchi is a "close friend." Obviously. Aside from the $3.5 million loan, Auchi and Rezko became partners in a Midwest pizzeria business. Through various dealings, Rezko wound up owing Auchi more than $27 million. What did Auchi want in return? Perhaps a friend in the White House? Both Rezko and Auchi were, and are, in the business of buying influence.

Among Obama's circle of friends is William C. Ayers, currently a professor of education at the University of Chicago and a former aide to Chicago's current mayor, Richard M. Daley. He served with Obama on the board of the Woods Fund of Chicago.

Back in the 1970s he was known simply as Bill Ayers, a terrorist with the Weathermen who was quoted in the New York Times as finding "a certain eloquence in bombs." Married to fellow Weathermen terrorist Bernadine Dohrn, he writes openly about his role in the 1974 bombing of the U.S. Capitol Building.

His memoirs appeared in the New York Times, oddly enough, on Sept. 11, 2001. In them, he wrote: "I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough." Does Barack Obama agree? Or will he denounce these words of his friend as he did with Louis Farrakhan after Farrakhan's endorsement of Obama?

The trial of an Illinois influence-peddler may answer the many questions that surround the past and future of Barack Obama. Clearly, the friends he has chosen are not friends of honest, clean government or of the United States.

Michelle Obama should be ashamed of herself for stirring up negative emotions while presenting herself as America’s potential First Lady. Stepping into the shoes of Laura or Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan or Jackie Kennedy requires seasoned preparation and an open mind for the hearts of the American people. All of the American people not just an identifiable segment of the population based on skin color or leftist thinking.

Mrs. Obama has had a chip on her shoulder about Caucasian people dating back as early as her senior thesis at Princeton University in 1985. Her campaign lipskittle about never having been proud of being an American prior to campaigning at her husband’s side, pales by contrast to the pouty prattling in her thesis on how “Whitie” has made it impossible for blacks to assimilate into mainstream America. Is she kidding?

Her “White Man” is the root of all evil document might have had some relevance to Black Americans in the 1950’s, but to create a document which positions white Americans as obstacles to blacks in the late 1980’s is more telling about her own animus for Caucasians than it is about any reality of life transitioning into the 90’s.

Where is her razor sharp tongue for the black men who have abandoned the mothers of their children and thereby creating an entire welfare class in America? Where is her discernment over the complete disparity between minorities who were given preferential treatment over Caucasians as a result of affirmative action? Did white women get a front of the line pass as Blacks were being given jobs and college admissions based on fulfilling racial quotas?

Michelle needs to read Blacks In the Ghetto or Civil Rights and the American Negro. Both were 1960’s eye-openers for progressive thinkers. The works were among multitudes of others dissecting and analyzing the past and future for Blacks in America. By 1985 when she took a swing at Caucasians, she was actually perpetuating a great divide between Black and White America. Michelle Obama is not a healer or reconciler; she is a divider and finger pointer.

I had an NAACP Wilt Chamberlain poster in my room in the 1960’s. Black is not a barrier to relationship for me. However, I do not appreciate being blamed for every gosh darn problem that Black Americans encounter. Michelle Obama is a quintessential White American hating racist. She would blame White Americans or Caucasians in general for her myopic perception of all the ills non-whites have dealt with from the beginning of time.

I was a young female, in the 70’s. No one handed me a free pass or a break because I was White. I didn’t have to point my finger at White men to get ahead in the business world. I relied on my intellect, positive personality and God’s good grace to succeed. Today I work in an industry dominated by gay, liberal men. As a conservative, heterosexual female, I face black listing, being named as a conservative on websites and being shut out from the good old boy network.

Blaming other people for failed deals or opportunities would be asinine, inane and somewhat prejudicial. Unlike the whining, white hating Michelle Obama I believe that focusing on a positive outcome is far more productive and authentic. There is absolutely nothing to gain by naming any class or ethnicity as an obstacle. If Michelle Obama’s sour historical attitude toward Caucasians is an indication of what the world can expect from her as America’s First Lady, shame be on anyone who would support her husband.

The only way to stop prejudice is to walk past it. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton have made careers and millions of dollars by keeping the illusion of a Black and White American divide alive. In reality, Americans do not live in the 1950’s Sidney Poitier, No Way Out movie.

Wake up Michelle. We get it. You are not proud of being an American. You blame White Americans for all the problems Black Americans have ever faced and you are desperately seeking your position at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue so that you can give us all a dose of that venomous tongue you so adeptly wag before us.

But to be a fly on Bloomberg’s wall. The GOP base will refuse to vote for McCain; Ann Coulter will campaign for Hillary. Liberal Democrats are rushing to support an inexperienced socialist in lieu of Hillary in a mass exodus away from another Clinton White House. Democrats are promising to support McCain if Hillary captures the nomination.

November 2008 promises to be an historic election. America could have its first woman or black President. Both the GOP and Democrats are scrambling to find money to go on.

Both parties are dysfunctional. Yes, Virginia, it will be a new day in November. If the nonsense continues, Bloomberg will win by a landslide by simply taking the disenfranchised and party defectors.

Perhaps the corruption of corrupt politicians has finally caused a long over due implosion of the system.

Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence

“That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

Whatever the outcome for November 2008, it needs not to be one of angry rhetoric or punitive reaction. Calm cool heads must prevail. Weather Channel Founder: Global Warming 'Greatest Scam in History'

John Coleman, founder of the Weather Channel, has written an article in which he calls the idea of man-made global warming 'a scam:"

It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims.

Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus. Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from Global Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens.

If there is one sciientific discipline that has generally been skeptical of warming claims overall it has been Meteorologists. The fact that these are people who study the weather - not climate - and have generally been making the point that we can't predict what the weather will be 5 days from now so how can we be predicting what it's going to be like 100 years down the road?

Coleman also wrote this:

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming. In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious.

Coleman is up against a formidable coalition of interests and it is unlikely he will prevail. But a voice of sanity in the global warming debate is always welcome and may contribute down the road to a return to sanity.

……………. Glenn Ford plays a liberal lawyer of the "communists can be decent people too" school who gets put through the wringer. Dorothy McGuire is present to inspire bad thoughts in the minds of the male audience. But if you can wrench your attention from Dorothy (not an easy trick, granted) the revelation here is Arthur Kennedy, one of the film world's truly great supporting actors. Here he plays a manipulative Party lawyer with exactly the right mix of superficial charm, coldness, and sheer malice.

No other film deals more effectively with Party techniques -- somebody, Robson, the producer, or the screenwriter, must have once held a Party card. But what makes this film stand out is the way it depicts the human cost of the communist impulse. In reading memoirs of former communists, what comes across most clearly is the destruction it wrought on the human level -- the wrecked marriages and friendships, the victims left to face suspicious authorities with no aid from their erstwhile "comrades", the true believers who found themselves on the wrong side of some Party "line" and subject to absolute personal destruction. Trial reveals this aspect of communism more clearly than any film I know of. The scene where Ford discovers that McGuire has betrayed him on behalf of the Party she no longer particularly believes in has an impact hard to match.

Robson went on to make bigger films (the 70s disaster extravaganza Earthquake was one of his), but nothing to match Trial. And along with most of the films mentioned, it's impossible to get hold of. While Fuller's films are available on DVD (his anticommunism is today viewed as simply one of many endearing eccentricities), there is no sign that Trial has ever been available in any format. If stated in terms of dealing with personal health issues. One can prevent cancer or wait until cancer is present and then try to remove or suppress it. The US long ago lost its opportunity to prevent the spread of Communist ideology. The example of one poor mis-understood Mexican boy as portrayed in the film Trial is a nano-concern compared to the massive protests, lobbies and well funded efforts our courts, Immigration Service and police deal with on a daily basis surrounding the countless millions of undocumented people who have exploited their way into our country. These law breaking people demand and receive free education, free medical care, free college educations and all of the rights otherwise conveyed to our citizens. This “cancer” spread one cell at a time while Americans sat passively by enjoying the cheap labor. Now that pay day has arrived and schools, emergency rooms and other services are threatened, the rush to get rid of the cancer is too little too late.

Hollywood has long been a gear in the propagandist engine. Fifty years ago, the stories were about the poor Mexicans who needed to be defended by the fair minded Communist lawyers against the ignorant, closed minded Americans. Today, Hollywood is pumping out films, and media about the poor misunderstood Islamic extremists. The same machine that has promoted the illegal immigrant cause is well tooled to take on the Muslim challenge.

With Hollywood backing them up, the left is ever at the ready to move against traditional values, morals and American traditions. If Christmas trees in airports offend Muslims, the ACLU is right there to defend their rights to have them removed. If American traditional holidays offend Muslims our schools are forced to abandon or rename the celebration. The mention of God in our Pledge of Allegiance offends anyone and the challenge to remove God is taken all the way to the Supreme Court. Hollywood is all too happy to write and dictate history, to manipulate people via films, television and outspoken, high profile actors.

Newsweek reports this week that Democratic activists across the country are pressing Al Gore to enter the presidential race — and believe that if Gore wins the Nobel Peace Prize this month — it may just trigger his entry.

NewsMax’s e-letter “Insider Report” first disclosed back on June 10 that the former vice president was considering entering the race if he won the Nobel prize. Winners are announced this October 12 in Oslo, Norway.

NewsMax reported, “Party insiders believe that a Gore campaign launched as late as October will still have enough time to raise money and challenge front-runners Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Edwards.”

Gore has been nominated for the prize for his efforts to draw attention to the dangers of global warming. Speculation about a Gore run has been increasing as the date draws near.

Gore supporters believe a Nobel win “would burnish his reputation and remind Democrats that he’s been a leader fighting what voters consider the world’s premier environmental battle,” Newsweek reports. “Some Gore backers think he’s already decided to run, but speculate that he doesn’t want politics to interfere with his Nobel chances.”

The national DraftGore.com organization has gathered around 127,000 signatures to put Gore on primary ballots, and is planning to run an ad in The New York Times urging him to run.

The California 4 Gore group has volunteers circulating petitions in all 53 congressional districts. And a poll in Michigan by Detroit News/WXYZ-TV had Gore winning 36 percent of the vote, beating out Clinton with 32 percent.

So far Gore has given no clear indication that he’s leaning toward a run, although he has not ruled that out when given the opportunity.

But Roy Gayhart, an organizer of the California group, told Newsweek, “We feel that if [Gore] wins the Nobel Prize . . . then he can’t not run for president.”

Eco-millionaires see boom times ahead

LONDON (Reuters) - Mankind's response to climate change will shift how the world gets its energy and is already making "green barons" out of early investors in renewable energy, clean technologies and carbon trading.

Reuters spoke to four entrepreneurs who are cashing in on the energy revolution and who say there is more money to be made.

BRUCE KHOURI, co-founder of Solar Integrated Technologies, based in Los Angeles, has at the age of 48 made $5 million by cashing in shares in the company.

He still has a $11 million stake in the company, which makes lightweight solar panels for commercial roofs. He saw the opportunity while running his own industrial roofing firm.

Q: How did you get rich?

A: "It hasn't been easy but we transformed an old-world roofing material into a renewable energy technology. It's a miracle Solar Integrated is still here but a pioneer charging across the prairie is bound to get hit by a few arrows."

As long ago as the early 1990s Khouri saw a market for flexible solar panels which could be laminated on to large roofs, such as warehouses. He did not found Solar Integrated until 2001 once tax and subsidy incentives made the market more attractive.

Q: Is 'the business of green' a bubble?

A: "No. For political reasons the United States has been behind others on green issues, but once it catches up it will be a domino effect. In 20 years they won't talk about regular roofing because it just won't exist ... there is so much rooftop real estate that is completely under-utilized.

"And 50 years from now every bit of a building that is struck by the sun will be generating power in some way."

PEDRO MOURA COSTA, co-founder of Oxford-based EcoSecurities, 44, made 4.8 million pounds ($10 million) when he sold some shares in the firm which helps convert emission cuts into tradable carbon credits. His remaining shares are worth about 37 million pounds ($73 million).

Q: How did you get rich?

A: "I saw the carbon market could be big business and the Kyoto Protocol confirmed my views. But I didn't expect it to take 10 years to come into force."

Moura Costa was working as a forester in Malaysia when he saw the potential for an international carbon credit market.

He spent the early 1990s advising on a project to plant trees in Borneo to compensate for extra carbon pollution from new power plants in the Netherlands.

Q: Is 'the business of green' a bubble?

A: "No. It's become quite obvious we do something now or it will be an irreversible trend with catastrophic consequences.

"The only chance of it being a bubble is if we lack the political commitment to drive emission reductions worldwide -- and if we do that we might as well forget about any environmental effort whatsoever because climate change is hitting us hard and the trend is likely to accelerate. I think it's very unlikely political support will go away."

DAVID SCAYSBROOK, founder of Novera Energy, a 43-year old Australian, made 3 million pounds ($6 million) when he cashed in some of his shares in the wind power and landfill gas firm he founded in 1998. He has about 3 million pounds ($6 million) worth of shares invested in Novera and carbon cutter Camco International, which he advises.

Q: How did you get rich?

A: Three things had pushed up share valuations in the wind power industry, he said.

First, people were more worried about energy security and producing energy themselves. Second, the cost of traditional energy sources such as oil and gas had gone up. Third, tax breaks, subsidies and emissions caps had prompted even more conservative investors "to finally move off their perch".

Q: Is 'the business of green' a bubble?

A: "The scale of investment to date is nothing compared to what is coming.

"The bubble aspect is ill-informed investors chasing pipe-dream technology. For example, there are hundreds of firms competing for the next generation of technology in solar panels but it won't necessarily be the best technology that wins."

NEIL ECKERT, chief executive of Climate Exchange, which runs the main European exchange for carbon trading, has shares worth about 18 million pounds ($36 million). He is also non-executive chairman of Trading Emissions and Econergy, both involved in emission-cutting projects and generating revenue from carbon credits.

Q: How did you get rich?

A: Despite the high paper value of his holdings in Climate Exchange, Eckert has yet to cash in. He already made millions selling his shares in Brit Insurance, which he set up and ran for 10 years until 2005.

Q: Is 'the business of green' a bubble?

A: "No. We have the biggest opportunity to replace fossil fuel, which has a market capitalization of hundreds of billions of pounds, but it's vital we listen to the scientific consensus and create a financial solution.

"I believe we have a chance to meet the stated mitigation targets much quicker than people think ... but it depends on whether people believe money can be made."

Excuse Me, Who is Charlie Rangel? - INFORMATION REPOST

On Friday, April 14, 1972, Patrolman Philip Cardillo and Vito Navarra responded to a "10-13" call at 102 East 116th Street, Harlem, NY, which was a Nation of Islam mosque where Malcolm X used to preach. Upon arriving inside, they were ambushed by 15 to 20 men, one of whom, according to the ballistics report, shot Cardillo at point blank range. Most of the police were forced out of the mosque and locked out, leaving a dying Cardillo and officers Victor Padilla and Ivan Negron locked from within.

Police eventually managed to break down the door and witnessed a man named Louis 17X Dupree standing over Cardillo with a gun in hand. Before Dupree could be taken into custody, however, Louis Farrakhan and Charles Rangel arrived at the scene, threatening a riot if Dupree was not released. Just as the police forensics unit was about to seal off the crime scene, they were ordered out of the mosque by the police brass. Outside a mob had overrun the street and overturned a police cruiser, shouting, "I hope you die you pigs. I hope you drop dead."

One of the officials who hampered the ballistics investigation was Benjamin Ward who later became police commissioner under Mayor Ed Koch. Ward had ordered all white police officers away from the scene, aquiescing to the demands of Farrakhan and Rangel.

At the hospital where Cardillo lay dying, Lindsay and his commissioner Patrick V. Murphy met up with police officials. When a member of the NYPD brass termed the event a riot, Lindsay exclaimed, "Riot? What do you mean a riot? There can't be a riot...How can you say such a thing?" When the deputy commissioner of the NYPD wanted to send out a press release explaining the department's view of what happened, he was overruled by Ward, who convinced Lindsay of the need to keep Harlem from rioting again. Farrakhan and Rangel demanded an apology from the mayor. Farrakhan said that Cardillo and Navarra had "charged into our temple like criminals and they were treated like criminals." Lindsay and Murphy apologized to Farrakhan, dropped the charges against all Nation of Islam members arrested that night, and removed every white police officer from Harlem, leaving an all-black force in the area, hoping to neutralize racial tensions.

Neither Lindsay nor Murphy attended Philip Cardillo's funeral. Five years later, Dupree was found not guilty of the murder of Cardillo.

Sheehan Stripped After Being Branded Witch By Pelosi

Monday 23rd of July 2007 Cindy Sheehan was stripped and brutally beaten with hot iron rods after she announced that she would run against and beat Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) Sheehan organized a large rally at which she openly shouted, "If Pelosi refuses to bring articles of impeachment against President Bush to the floor of the House, I not only will challenge the Speaker in the next election but also will beat her."

Sheehan seized the anti-war spotlight during her extended protest outside the president’s ranch in Crawford, Texas in 2005, after her 24-year-old son, Casey, was killed in Iraq.

Speaking at a demonstration at Arlington National Cemetery prior to the beating, Sheehan argued that it is Pelosi’s constitutional obligation to impeach the president.

Pelosi declared that Sheehan was using black magic against her and the Democratic Congress and that Sheehan needed to be beaten before she could beat anyone. Pelosi complained to Hillary Clinton who confirmed that Sheehan needed to be stripped and beaten with hot rods and sickles.

After the beating Sheehan openly displayed her naked and bruised body for the press. Most agreed that it was not a pretty sight, but in the interest of liberal media exploitation, agreed to publish the photo.

Witch-hunt cases are rampant in Wash. D.C. More than 600 people, mostly women, have been killed in last 10 years after they were charged with practicing black magic or servicing prominent political figures at private executive massage and sexual fantasy parties.

Congress began investigating the carbon offset industry this week. The inquiry could produce some “inconvenient truths” for Al Gore and the nascent offset industry.

Carbon offsets ostensibly allow buyers to expunge their consciences of the new eco-sin of using energy derived from fossil fuels. Worried about the 8 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted each year by your SUV? Similar to the indulgences offered by Pope Leo X in the 16th century, you can absolve yourself of sin by purchasing $96 worth of CO2 offsets – typically offered at $12 per ton of CO2 emitted – from offset brokers who, in turn, supposedly use your cash to pay someone else to produce electricity with low or no CO2 emissions.

Last year, offsets representing 23.7 million tons of CO2 were sold to businesses and consumers. Sounds like a lot of CO2 emissions were avoided, except when you consider that annual natural emissions of CO2 amount to hundreds of billions of tons.

The physical world aside, the CO2 offset marketplace itself is questionable – hence this week’s congressional hearing entitled, “Voluntary Carbon Offsets: Getting What You Pay For.” The hearing is particularly notable since it was called by a Democrat-run Congress, concerned that global warming alarmism is being jeopardized by dubious marketing and consumer rip-offs involving offsets.

A prime example of dubious offset marketing involves Al Gore’s movie, “An Inconvenient Truth.”

The movie's producers, Paramount Classics and Participant Productions, announced that they purchased offsets from broker NativeEnergy to compensate for 100 percent of the CO2 emissions from the air and ground transportation, hotel use, and production and promotional activities associated with the movie.

So how many offsets supposedly compensated for the CO2 sins of Al Gore and the dozens of individuals credited with producing a movie shot in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Beijing? According to a Web site release from NativeEnergy – which has since been removed – it only cost 40 tons of offsets (worth about $480) to make “An Inconvenient Truth” carbon neutral.

It’s an absurdly low figure given that the making of a 30-second television commercial can easily produce 50 tons and the movie “Syriana” – another NativeEnergy project – was supposedly offset with 2,040 tons worth of offsets.

When I called NativeEnergy to inquire about the 40-ton figure and the Web page that mysteriously disappeared, I was rebuffed and told that the company “does not share information about its clients without their consent.” This immediately made me wonder why the producers of “An Inconvenient Truth” either withheld or revoked their consent since so many of NativeEnergy’s other clients’ offset purchases are so prominently touted on the company’s web site.

NativeEnergy told me I would have to go through Paramount's legal department to obtain the necessary consent. Despite repeated attempts, Paramount never returned my calls – quite odd given the Oscar-winning producers’ mission and audacious self-acclaim of pioneer status as the world’s first carbon-neutral documentary.

NativeEnergy still boasts on its web site about offsetting “100 percent of the carbon dioxide pollution” associated with “An Inconvenient Truth” – but there’s still no mention – let alone any “carbon accounting” – of what that “100 percent” actually represents.

There is reason to explore this issue further than just the spotlighting of more Al Gore-related hypocrisy – the climate alarmist community is even concerned about the offset racket.

As recently reported on the left-wing web site Grist.org (http://gristmill.grist.org/story/2007/6/19/123649/857), it’s worthwhile asking whether carbon offsets are offsetting anything at all.

According to the Grist article, NativeEnergy is selling offsets that are supposed to be helping to pay for wind-generated electricity supplied by the Alaska Village Electric Cooperative (AVEC) to 52 Alaskan villages.

When the Grist reporter first interviewed an AVEC official, the money received from NativeEnergy was described as a “bonus” – a potential problem given that the agreement between AVEC and NativeEnergy requires that the offsets are “a significant contributor to economic viability and the seller’s efforts to build additional wind capacity.” AVEC and NativeEnergy have since backed off the “bonus” characterization, according to the Grist article.

While acknowledging the possibility of a slip of the tongue on the part of the AVEC official, the Grist reporter raised the salient point – presumably because of the black box-nature of CO2 offsets – that we will never actually know whether the offsets purchased through NativeEnergy were used to produce any wind power or reduce any CO2 emissions.

NativeEnergy sells offsets to the public at a cost of $12/ton. But how much of that price goes to reduce CO2 emissions versus NativeEnergy’s pockets? A recent CNNMoney article reported that NativeEnergy raised $250,000 to pay for 50,000 tons of CO2 reductions on South Dakota’s Rosebud Sioux tribe reservation – that is, as little as $5/ton may go toward emissions reduction.

A gross profit margin of $7/ton for NativeEnergy is not bad, especially since there appears to be little follow-up and verification as to whether the consumer’s goal of reducing CO2 emissions are actually accomplished.

Finally, taxpayers provide additional support for projects in which NativeEnergy is involved – the Department of Energy contributed more than $448,000 to the Rosebud Sioux project. The U.S. Department of Agriculture gave AVEC $2.5 million for wind turbines. A Capitol Hill staffer told me that the congressional inquiry would look into the possibility of “double-dipping” in the offset industry.

There’s an awful lot of consumer and taxpayer money flying around offset-related projects with little, if any, accountability. On one hand, it’s good that Congress, in the name of consumer protection, has commenced an investigation of “the efficacy and accounting of these unregulated commodities.” On the other hand, only time will tell if a Congress controlled by the global warming lobby will conduct a bona fide investigation that risks discrediting one of its major themes.

This is why the Democrats have to drag the illiterate undereducated Hollywood pretty people into the spotlight. They need America to think that they are cool enough to attract pretty.

Not Fred, he is walking, living, breathing proof positive that he attracts pretty. No question about it at all; his wife is a stunner.

Will the ugliest people say and write the ugliest things about her? Absolutely, it is an age old problem, insecure people have to attack what they are most intimidated by. Pretty women have to work harder to be taken seriously; therefore, they usually become more sensitive, educated and patient.

Why should anyone be surprised that Paris Hilton was rewarded and given special treatment for breaking the law?

The entire country is in a hideous, mindless debate over how to reward and give special treatment to 12 million people who have broken the law by gaining unlawful entry to the US.

Our courts have sided with law breakers by preferring to send the law enforcers to prison as witnessed in the Romos and Compean case.

Peace Officers are hard pressed to enforce the law for fear of being sued by the ACLU or other anti-American, radical groups as seen at the recent rallies in Los Angeles.

The courts prefer to punish landlords for requesting legal status documents from potential tenant applicants over enforcing the laws broken by the law breakers.

Financial institutions prefer marketing to law breakers than to citizens and legal residents.

With all the law breakers' rewards in place – we may soon determine that life behind bars is the safest place in America.

Perhaps the new American Statue of Liberty should read:

The US border and immigration have consumed the attention of conservatives in countless measure. Republicans have decreased or stopped contributing to the party, and voters have rallied in the hundreds of thousands in response to the proposed immigration reform bill. Radio stations, television and cable channels are seeing huge increases in ad revenues as a result of capitalizing on the heightened frenzy over the fate of the estimated twelve million undocumented people already in the US.

George Bush’s approval ratings are continuing to plummet and the fate of the Republican Party is uncertain. The immigration hysteria is single-handedly undermining the chances for a GOP win in 2008. One can only imagine the consequences of an Obama win in 08. With his strings being pulled by the evil puppeteer George Soros, a win for Obama would represent a long awaited win for Soros. Soros has openly stated his animosity for George Bush and the United States. The very inexperienced Obama does not have a foundation of support inside of the Beltway. His evil puppeteer would bind and closet him within minutes of his being sworn in; giving the evil puppeteer absolute and complete control. Even Hillary looks good in contrast to Obama and she is shamelessly promoting her socialist agenda as the gospel according to the goddess.

Why did George Bush acquiesce on the border issue? He needed to make the ultimate sacrifice for the long term good of the American people and life as we know it today. Remember what George said,

“Democracies don’t harbor terrorists. It’s not in their political or economic interest to do so.”

His vision has been to bring democracies to the Middle East as the most powerful deterrent to the spread of terrorism. The media has worked overtime against the success of a democratic Iraq and for that matter Afghanistan. This is the very same liberal media constantly doing the bidding of liberal Democrats.

When Americans last took to the voting booths, they were influenced by the most powerful political voice; the media. The result netted a Democratic stronghold in Congress. George Bush found himself in a difficult situation. He needs Congress to continue funding the fight for Democracy in the Middle East. The Democrats in Congress need George Bush to support the Immigration Reform Bill enabling the twelve million immigrants to potentially become legalized Kool-ade drinkers.

Understanding that sometimes one must sacrifice a battle in order to win the war, George made a deal. By doing so he relied on the ability of the American people to understand the long term, heinous, ramifications of leaving the Middle East. He also understands that the majority of the immigrants potentially eligible for legal status in the US are Catholic thereby; faith based and more likely to be pro-life and against gay marriage. These are among the core qualities shared by conservatives. George Bush believes that reason will prevail and that conservatives will understand the social, economic and political benefits resulting from changing the status of the undocumented workers and their families. The majority of the immigrants are far more likely to become Republicans because they will be guided by their Catholic values and mores.

The recent article and speech by Brig. Gen. Steven Anderson clearly exemplifies the fact that the media is ruining America and liberal Americans are savoring the short term anti-Bush glory. The frantic reaction over the border is also being exacerbated by the media. The media baited Americans to believe that our involvement in the Middle East is wrong, a waste of time, money and lives and that George Bush’s engagement in the conflict is directly tied to his oil interests. Believing that they have won their Iraq war PR campaign the media switched to the border debate counting on the vociferous objections from conservatives to drive the final nail into George Bush’s casket.

Conservatives need to peel the blinders off of their eyes, open their ears and sniff out the lies before they continue to blindly consume to poison bate being left for them by the media. Brig. Gen. Anderson’s hands on assessment of the situation in Iraq should be sent to every American’s email in box.

WASHINGTON: A U.S. general serving with Multinational Force Iraq recently took time out of his mid-deployment leave to let the American public know that the situation in Iraq is different from what they might think.

Brig. Gen. Steven Anderson, deputy chief of staff for resources and sustainment, spoke yesterday with representatives of veterans service organizations, outlining a speech he gave earlier at James Madison University about what he believes are 10 myths about the conflict in Iraq.

"There are some signs that our new strategy is working," Brig. Gen. Anderson said in a teleconference from Baghdad. "It's going to be a long, hot summer, and it won't be really until the end of it that we'll be able to evaluate it. There is plenty of opportunity, and plenty of reason to be cautiously optimistic about what's going on over there."

The 10 myths, as outlined by Brig. Gen. Anderson, are:

The war in Iraq is about oil;

The U.S. is fighting alone in Iraq;

Iraq is engulfed in a full-scale civil war;

The Iraqis were better off under Saddam Hussein than under the new government;

The Iraqi government is ineffective;

Economic development is non-existent in Iraq;

Contractors cost the U.S. government too much money;

U.S. troops aren't properly equipped;

Morale is low among U.S. troops; and

The U.S. has lost in Iraq.

None of these myths are true, Brig. Gen. Anderson said, and the situation in Iraq is much better than is often reported here.

The war in Iraq is essentially a fight against religious extremists, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. And while oil is an important element in the situation, it is not the key element. "It is essentially about freedom and peace and democracy, in my opinion," he said.

The United States is not alone in the fight, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. About 32 countries are contributing troops to the fight in Iraq, and about 40 countries are providing contractors and logistics support.

"It's truly a coalition of many nations, and all of them are committed equally to helping the Iraqis build their security forces and counter violence and empower the Iraqis to eventually take control and secure their nation," he said.

While violence levels in Iraq still are unacceptable, the situation is not a full-scale civil war, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. The fight involves religious extremists on the fringe and does not involve large-scale force-on-force combat, he pointed out.

The existence in Iraq of free speech, a free press and a democratically elected government are all signs that the Iraqi people are better off now than they were under Saddam, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. In addition, major improvements in the country's infrastructure have improved the people's quality of life, he said. Sewer, water, trash and electricity services all are improving, and the coalition has built almost 1,000 schools, renovated 97 railway stations, built 51 primary health-care centers and renovated 32 hospitals.

The Iraqi government does have room for improvement, but it is still a young democracy and it has made significant progress since its inception, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. Four of Iraq's 18 provinces are now completely under provincial-government control for security, and their ability to provide services to the people is improving.

"Do they need to get better? Absolutely," he said. "But are there signs that they are getting better? Absolutely."

The signs of economic progress in Iraq are very encouraging:

The Iraqi economy has cut inflation in half

The gross domestic product increased 40 percent in 2006 and is projected to grow more in 2007

The per capita income has doubled

The economy is getting foreign investments

The United States is working with the government to reduce corruption in the economy, improve oil exports and revitalize Iraqi businesses

"One need only to go to a place like Irbil, up north in Kurdistan, to see (what's) possible - an Iraqi city that is vibrant, has high employment and a flourishing economy," Brig. Gen. Anderson said. "It's almost like walking down the streets of a typical European city, with restaurants and shops and car dealerships. It's a thriving place, and I believe that is a demonstration of what is possible hopefully in the very, very near term."

Contractors are valuable contributors to the coalition mission in Iraq and have actually increased their services while reducing costs over the years, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. In addition, contractors, many of whom are from countries besides the U.S., risk their lives every day alongside coalition troops, he said. "I believe that they are patriots in every sense of the word," he said of the contractors who serve in Iraq.

Although the enemy is adaptive and constantly changes tactics to defeat U.S. defenses, U.S. troops are extremely well outfitted and receive the latest technologies to protect them, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. Body armor is provided to every troop who deploys, and vehicle armor is constantly upgraded as technologies become available, he said. In addition, Iraqi troops are becoming increasingly well equipped. They have armored vehicles, mortars, helicopters and aircraft, and the government is spending $7 billion this year to improve their equipment, he said.

Retention rates among deployed troops prove that morale is high, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. The troops know that many Americans don't support the war, but they continue to see the outpouring of support for those who fight, he said.

"This new generation of kids is unbelievable, and I think they are representing Americans extremely well," he said. "They're disciplined and compassionate; they don't pull the trigger indiscriminately; and they go truly overboard to protect citizens and respect Islamic culture."

The new operational strategy for Iraq is still in the initial stages, but there are encouraging signs already, Brig. Gen. Anderson said. Coalition and Iraqi forces will, for the first time, have enough troops to secure areas of Baghdad after clearing them of insurgents. More soldiers in an area does mean more opportunities for conflict with the enemy, so leaders expect the situation will get worse before it gets better, but they believe the new strategy can work, he said.

"We understand that the military cannot win the war (on its own), but we're certainly not losing it," he said. "We can only help set the conditions for a political solution; we understand that.

"We must continue to apply all of our political, military and diplomatic, economic and informational power to this fight," he continued. "We understand that this is the defining international event of our time. We absolutely understand that we must win this struggle and that we must prevail, and I'm optimistic that the opportunity still exists in order to do that."

The answer is money. Controlling the money, the flow of money and the purchasing power of money has become the primary objective of politicians. Control over businesses and industry translates to money, control over oil equates to profits which translates to money, and on and on. The duplicitous campaign speeches and advertising are all geared to generate more control over the flow of money.

As I have stated in a previous posting, Harry Reid, for example, is the loudest horn blower for the Democrat’s Trojan horse on withdrawing the troops. He toots his horn to Bring The Troops Home Now! Yet, the only person foolish enough to actually believe that a plan to bring the troops home is viable is John Edwards. His lack of real political experience and complete void of connections to the DC good ‘ol boys club would place him in a more target centric position than Jimmy Carter found himself in. Edwards is predestined to fail in his bid for the White House. John Edward’s is all about money. He is supported by the American Trial Lawyer’s Association – made his money suing doctors and hospitals and consults for wealthy hedge funds, but Harry is all too happy to ride on Edward’s far left, liberal stance on Iraq.

However, there is absolutely no way that the Democrats would leave the oil revenues on the table in Iraq. But their disinformation machine has, again, done a better job than the conservatives at bringing a palatable message to the voters. And the Dems are counting on the “withdraw” the troops rhetoric to sell the day in 11/08. They just need to get the Republican’s hands off of the control of the oil, and the money.

The global warming debate is another red herring. It’s all about money. Any politician who is not currently a part of the oil mafia has seized the opportunity to scare the heck out of Americans as they are heavily lobbying and investing in the alternative energy research and programs. Most of which require huge petroleum resources to produce. But the plan to open up another huge income source has motivated the “proselytizers” spread the end of the world message. Doom and gloom are approaching unless we, not they, support the global warming farce.

Immigration has caused another split in Washington because of money. Open the borders between Canada, Mexico and the US has been a long term plan of many administrations. Ted Kennedy doesn’t care about little Mexican kids getting a proper education or health care, he cares about being able to make millions of dollars on the one currency plan between the three countries and the oil revenues which the US will share with Mexico. George Bush has taken a leap to bring the US, Canada and Mexico into a comparable position as the European countries did in forming the EU. Opening the borders to Mexicans is the next step toward the one world government concept pushed and supported by George Bush, Sr.

The answer to the question is that the movement toward a one world government which will control all of the money is causing the politicians to scramble for their positions in the food chain. The scrambling makes them appear to be fractured and insane – which perhaps they are.

I read an article today about using contraception to control the population of Koala on Kangaroo Island. The 30,000 island marsupials are eating Eucalyptus plants at about one pound per, each day. Problem? Supply and demand. Solution? Field workers will begin shooting small contraception chips into the thighs of the female Koala. Each chip will prevent conception for approx 2 years.

Perhaps the idea can be applied to the war on terror. Stop the births, the end is clear. If suddenly, the Islamic community realized a sharp reduction in “disposable” future generations, life might matter. If not, perhaps the end of the war on terrorism would become clear to the free world. Without warriors there can be no war.

Suggestion? Load up your automatic weapons, fill them with time released birth control and take aim at all Berkas. “One small pop for peace, one giant population controlled for mankind.”

Path to 9/11 - Commentary - O

The first night of the ABC network mini series “Path to 9/11” presented a fairly good concept of the events preceding the bin Laden inspired assault on the US in 2001 with its origin in the initial bombing of the WTC in 1993. While nearly double the number of people watching the mini were tuned into the football game, the fact that the mini struck a cord of fear within the ranks of the former Clinton admin seniors should be telling enough. It became quite clear that Bill and Hillary Clinton were frantic as evidenced by the liberal letter and media campaigned commenced against ABC and Disney. Less important than the specific motivation behind their panic, is the significant level of fear based reaction to a television movie.

It would be interesting to survey Americans asking them who Ramzi Yousef was. It would be interesting to ask Americans the date of the BlackHawk downing in Somalia or when bin Laden initially opened his training camps in Kashmir, Tajikistan or Chechnya. Or how about the name of the Iraqi intelligence officer bin Laden met in February 95.

No doubt, very few Americans would have the answers nor would they care. What they care about is their day to day simple life which is why Paris Hilton’s reality TV show was better received than the ABC 9/11 docudrama. The average Joe wants to know, does he have a job, place to live, basics and can he afford to take a couple of vacations, or buy a jet ski. National security is secondary to the list of primary needs. The names, histories or global connections between bin Laden, Atta, Yousef and Iraq or Afghanistan are not even a daily tertiary concern.

The hype, fear and pre-airing media coverage was actually all that the average Joe probably needed to understand. The fact that Bill Clinton did not want America to see something about bin Laden translates very directly to average Joe’s brain. “Clinton was a liar then and he is a liar now.” The media hammers the fact that Bush lied about Iraq; therefore, who can average Joe trust? He just wants to know when he can expect that $2.00 per gallon gas.

Nice job ABC, I will be one of the first to purchase the DVD and accompanying teachers guide (the one pulled by Scholastic from the educational version of the mini) also under pressure from Clinton.

At a recent dinner with a couple of Hollywood moguls at a private cigar club in Beverly Hills, it did not take long to confirm that I was the only conservative voice at the table. Notwithstanding my minority position, the conversation about the scheduled, September 10th & 11th, Path to 9/11 ABC mini series controversy was quite surprising. “It’s the biggest blunder the Democrats have made since Jimmy Carter”, one said, and then continued, “Thousands of copies of the original version are already out there, in the hands of media and others. Every scene edited from the piece will be on the Internet and every Blog site within days. By trying to kill the thing, the Clintonites are actually shining a big spotlight on it. People are going to assume that by trying to hide the information, by editing it, the deleted scenes MUST be true.”

Again the knee jerk reactions of the liberal left have opened the door for more speculation about their motives and control of the media and broadcast networks. The controversy has placed ABC in the fantastic position of being able to air the mini followed on by offering the unedited version, DVD, for sale immediately. Perfect!

It would not be surprising to witness a Clinton inspired campaign to “Vince Foster” everyone connected with the mini, followed by an all out effort to buy the world wide rights to the pic – just in time for a countdown to a November elections funeral pyre at which they would burn every shred of footage.

I am baffled by the fact that we are not focused on the great fortune that the enemy we are fighting in Iraq, being jointly fueled by Islamic extremists from Iran, Iraq, The Kingdom, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Palestine,and other Muslim brothers, is being fought almost entirely on the soil of Iraq. Our forces are fighting the equivalent of multiple wars, with multiple countries, on one consolidated soil. If we had cleaned up Iraq without any third party insurgency interference ..... we would have already rolled into Syria, and Iran remains a daunting target.

Yet, we have accomplished the perfect Sun Tsu maneuver, by drawing the enemy in. He is on the move to us, he is the guerilla fighter with limited resources being fueled by a cadre of crude weapons and a venomous tongue. The cost in human lives continues to be so very high, but fractional against one, two or three more 9/11 days on our soul. If we had the equivalent of 3 9/11 days on our soul, we would see nearly 10,000 souls die in three days. Weighed against the losses from the onset of our war against the enemy, we are very much in the black.

The members of congress calling, wailing, for withdrawal of our troops, all appear as if deer in the headlights, as if personally being blackmailed or held hostage by al Qaeda.

Do we stay in Iraq? Complete the task of multiple wars, or trip on the 15 yard line? Or do we gently, nicely, and complacently bend to the will of the fearful with political agendas for spines?

It is obvious that the ridiculous, risky and self-serving debate is a cornerstone for 2008. Fader for the firing line when the liberals won't have a platform, and will instead turn to the Kerry/Dean/Hollywood strategy for winning. Assault, assault, lie, lie, lie, confuse, repetitively utilize disinformation and aim at the character and competency of the opponent.

The Iraq war withdrawal debate, or battle as we saw this last week, appears nothing more than the tossing of the gauntlet to let the "Rice" games begin. Her war as much as it is W's. And thus, they must attack it at the core, the mission, the purpose and for its cost lest is become her cornerstone.

As Americans prepare for the arrival of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, it is notable the Prince of Wales will try to persuade the President of the merits of Islam during his 8 day visit to the US.

Speaking at a meeting with senior Muslim leaders in November 2001, Prince Charles said that he thinks the United States has been too intolerant of the religion. In his address to the group, which included Khalid Mahmood, the Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Bar, Sir Iqbal Sacrani, the secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, and Hashir Faruqi, the chief editor of Impact International, an Islamic affairs magazine, the Prince also spoke of his sympathy for America, but went on to state that he wanted to promote better relations between the different religions of the world.

Prince Charles, who will be making his first official foreign tour since his marriage to the Duchess of Cornwall, wants Americans - including Mr. Bush - to share his fondness for Islam. His agenda while in the US includes attendance of a seminar on religions at Georgetown University, Washington, examining how faith groups can alleviate social problems in their community.

Perhaps religious tolerance was not on the minds of the Muslim attackers of three teenage Christian girls who were beheaded and a fourth who was seriously wounded in the Indonesian province of Central Sulawesi. The girls were ambushed while walking through a cocoa plantation in Poso Kota subdistrict on their way to class. The heads of the three dead victims were found several kilometres from their bodies.

Perhaps this beheadings are a sacred ritual, will be condoned by the Prince, because he considers all things holy duing the month of Ramadan. Central Sulawesi has a roughly equal number of Muslims and Christians. The province was the scene of a bloody religious war in 2001-2002 that killed around 1000 people with beheadings, burnings and other atrocities common events.

Since the earlier religious wars there have been a series of bomb attacks and assassinations of Christians. One of the most recent being a bomb blast at a market in Poso, a predominantly Christian town, that killed 22 people in May. The Christian-Muslim conflict is an extension of a wider sectarian war emanating in the nearby Maluku in which up to 9000 were killed between 1999 and 2002.

Prince Charles made it clear in 1994 that when he became Supreme Governor of the Church of England, he would rather be "defender of faiths" than "defender of the faith".
In his acclaimed speech, revered throughout the Arab world, on relations between Islam and the West, he urged the West to overcome its "unthinkable prejudices" about Islam and its customs and laws. During his speech he also said, "Extremism is no more the monopoly of Islam than it is the monopoly of other religions, including Christianity."

Bravo, arms open, we welcome his Majesty and remember, the Cole, The World Trade Center bombing in 1993, the bombing of US Embassies in East Africa in 1998, the bombing of the World Trade Center in 2001, the bombing of the Pentagon in 2001, the train bombings in Spain, the recent terrorist bomb attacks in London, and India. We can also extol his sentiments for religious tolerance on the heals of Iran’s proclamation that Israel should be wiped from the face of the earth.

The problem with religious tolerance when dealing with killers in the name of religion is that when you turn the other cheek, they will cut off your ear, stab your eye and then cut off your head.

I know it would be nice to make it true and it would be easy to accept that we bombed our own Twin Towers, but so sorry, dear readers, it just ain’t so.

No, Oprah did it. She ate, she got fat, she emitted too much methane, she lost weight, shedding her DNA into the atmosphere and then she ate fresh fruit (picked by illegal immigrants with very dirty hands who also defecated and urinated recycled germs into the fields – more methane) finally, she exercised excessively thus exhaling too much C02. Forgetaboutit, no one will ever admit the truth ….too bad.

Look at Al Gore, fat! Bill Clinton, fat and now thin! Point the finger at Richard Simmons, the fat killer himself … how many fat cruises has he sponsored??? Fat, flatulence and methane are the Global Warmers … and the beached whales are the warners, brother, if we've ever had them.

Dateline 5 September 2005 – Today is my birthday and I am going to indulge myself. Not in cake and ice cream or even with a strong martini. Nope, I crave something far more delicious than the momentary passing of libation over my lips. I crave a response to the irrational statements made by the simple minded, pee-brained entertainers who have stepped up to the microphone and TV cameras, again, with reactions to Katrina and with disconnected recommendations to the government.

I wish to begin with Mr. Sean Penn. Is it appropriate to start with his arrest record, or his history of substance abuse and violent outbursts? Would it be fair to assess his expertise in search and rescue methods based on his level of education or experience as an elected public servant or government appointee? I suspect that paddling a sinking motorized boat along the flooded streets of New Orleans, with a personal photographer and large entourage onboard would, in certain circles, be considered brilliant and effective aid to the victims. The picture of the water being bailed from the boat with a small red cup by Mr. Penn deserves Time Magazine “Man Of the Year” consideration. My goodness, as a result of his ineptness, the motor did not work, because the boat had a not been properly secured. How could one not admire his courage and determination? May I never forget the picture of Mr. Penn floating from flooded house to flooded house, claiming that if America was not invested militarily in Iraq, we would be able to deal with the evacuations and rescues. As the National Guard, US Coast Guard, NOPD rescues were wrapping up, Penn claimed to be one of the only boats involved in rescues .... Hummmmm, I forgot, how many stars on his uniform?

And what about that Celine Dion? Up there on CNN Larry King Live, quacking like a duck about her near inability to sing as a result of what she witnessed seeing on the TV. The poor little dope was not able to process the fact that people are so poor that they don’t have cars or money for basic transportation. No doubt they spent their last chump change on her latest CDs.

But, leave nothing to the imagination, Oprah did show up to see the Houston rescue center. Yes, Ms. Opratunity herself showed up to let the people know that they are being remembered. Maybe she will arrange for more poverty stricken people to receive cars on which they can not afford the tax, and therefore will of necessity, decline the gift. The gift from her, at a cost to her of zero dollars. I feel a Harpo Production in the making.

Sean, Celine and Oprah are only a few of the GED candidates screaming that George Bush did not do enough nor did react quickly enough for the lame, blamers in Hollywood. There are apparently over 134,000 extremely poor people who have been integrated into other communities as a result of the devastation in New Orleans. NBC supported the President's being accused by some low life rapper named, Kanye, claiming that George Bush does not care about black people. The inference implicates everyone involved in the rescue, humanitarian efforts and relocations. Please put on the race breaks.

I cannot find an appropriate response. Where have Sean, Celine and Oprah been over the last 20 years? Where have the black entertainers, the black athletes, the black lawyers and doctors been? Why have successful blacks not aggressively helped the poorest black communities for the last 100 years? Why have so many people in one city been allowed to live, for decades, without the means to escape in the event of a disaster? Where was the Mayor? Where were the city officials and what was the Governor’s plan before Katrina hit? Did they not know that thousands of people would need help with evacuations prior to the hurricane hitting land? Of course they did.

Prior to Katrina staff writer Bruce Nolan, with the New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE ran a story warning residents: If you stay behind during a big storm, you'll be on your own! He reported some 7 weeks before Katrina: "In scripted appearances being recorded now, officials such as Mayor Ray Nagin, local Red Cross Executive Director Kay Wilkins and City Council President Oliver Thomas drive home the word that the city does not have the resources to move out of harm's way an estimated 134,000 people without transportation."

Blaming George Bush, FEMA, Homeland Security you or me for that matter is pedantic, useless and crazy. Without our government aid hundreds of thousands of souls who were at greatest risk would not have their government subsidized housing, welfare or Medicare. Hollywood did not relocate hundreds of thousands of poor people to communities willing and able to continue supporting them, caring for them and offering them additional aid.

What motivates the brainless, undeserving, millionaire entertainers to attack the hand feeding the very people they have done nothing to help in 100 years? What are the lucky entertainers doing to help unlucky people living in absolute poverty? Can Sean and Celine and Oprah buy some homes, move a few families in and commit to supporting them for the next 20-30 years?
